uLead2023 - The Summit of Educational Leadership has ended
Welcome to uLead 2023.  We are thrilled you will be joining us at the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel for our annual school leadership conference hosted by the Council for School Leadership of The Alberta Teachers’ Association.

If you have any questions during the event, we will have uLead team members at the registration table throughout the entire three days of the conference. This table can be found just outside of the Van Horne Ballroom where all of our keynote presentations are taking place.

For best use of this virtual scheduler and the most up to date information, we would recommend that you view it through a web browser rather than the Sched App.

In order for our team to best determine room allocations for breakout sessions would ask that delegates log in (top right corner of this page) and select sessions that they are interested in attending.

The Metis of Alberta are blessed with a wealth of knowledge and resources from nature – key among these blessings are the stories and lessons of the plant people. Our relationship with green growing things is much deeper than food, tools or firewood; plants have communicated vital place-based and spiritual information to shape our culture, leaving a permanent imprint on our way of life. In this presentation, we examine the importance of plantlife to the health of the Metis—creating awareness, appreciation, and respect for the local landscape.
